I recently got to enjoy an evening of cropping with some of the other ladies on this hop 1800 miles from home. I worked on my project while I was with them. I hope you enjoy it!
In my neck of the woods kids go to their friends houses and "Boo" them by ringing the door bell and running after leaving a bag of candy. I thought I would dress that idea up a bit. I used the Close to My Heart Art Philosophy cart to make the door hanger and the little note envelope. I used a few cirle punches to make the hole for the hanger a little larger and inside the envelope. I used My Minds Eye paper reinforced by another sheet of cardstock. I used the My Pink Stamper halloween set for the "Boo!" And, I used my first ever border punch....Martha Stewart graveyard (I'm sure she has a fancier name for it).
I also made a little Hello Kitty Birthday card using the Hello Kitty Cartridge, DCWV paper and some crinkle ribbon I made.
Thank you for stopping by! How about a little Blog Candy??? You know you want some...
Please leave with your favorite Halloween or B-day treat and become a follower to enter....Please comment by Tuesday, November 1st and I'll draw on Wednesday, November 2nd.
I thought since I love grab bags SO much and can never pass them up....how fun at Halloween to do a secret grab bag full of crafty goodness....It will be lots and lots of fun!
Now on to the next hopper....Ruthie

HSN Challenge Entry ---- That didn't win!
I know you are shocked....two posts from me in one week....
Well, I rarely enter challenges and when I do, they are all random drawings just for entering. Well, when HSN had the release of the E2 I decided to go for a judged challenge...The prize was a new E2 (which I already have, but I want one of my girlfriends to have one, too) and since I am in the Cricut Circle I was eligible to win an additional $150 Cricut credit.
The challenge was to create a pennant banner that included the word Cricut!
Here is my entry...I cut everything out of fabric or vinyl.
I used Mother's Day 2010 for the pennant and cut that out of zebra print fabric on the front and hot pink fabric on the back and then used interfacing to gift them stability and then sewed them together.
Next I cut out the letters on the Anniversary Addition E2 using the pre-loaded Alphabet cartridge (love that font) from hot pink cheetah fabric. I fused a double side interfacing to make the letters adhere to the zebra fabric.
Then I cute out the cute little girl bug from hot pink heat set vinyl and a shoe from the E2 machine preloaded cartridge Just a Note. I ironed them on the end pennants.
Then I sewed all the pennants to some hot pink dingleberry trim.
And finally I began the bling out! I adhered all the bling and lace using gemtack and fabric glue except for the bling between the the pennants. I cut out pieces from a Cricut cartridge clam shell and then sewed it to the trim with my machine. I then put some bling on the clear clam shell pieces, so it appeared to be floating suspended.
Well, I didn't win...I was crushed....They had 150 entrants and 10 winners and I wasn't one of them, but I have decided it is because they knew I already had an E2 because I used it on this project and not because it wasn't AMAZING. He-He!!! I love the spin....
Thanks for taking a look and I hope you will entered challenges when you are moved to do so!

Happy 40th Birthday, Hubby!
Had a great birthday celebration with family and friends for hubby's birthday this month.
I made a little invite. I got the idea from my friend Michelle at www.scrappinwithmybug.com. Then I carried the theme throughout the entire party. I even ordered custom fortune cookies with Chris' favorite quotes.
Hope you enjoy!

Dylan turns 1! Or....look what I got to do.....Yippee!!
So, my friend Amber's son turned 1 July 1st. She was very excited about planning the perfect birthday party for the little man. While she was researching some super cute decorations she showed me some pics of cupcake toppers she liked....I said "I could make those for you." Little did she know I would go bonkers! She got ADORABLE party decorations at Target. It is Little Monsters. Very cute! I horned my way in to make a little high chair banner for little Dylan and then surprised him (well really her :)...) with a little monster t-shirt I embellished.
Check it out....
Here are the party pictures...You can see the cute decoratoins from Target.

On the Road Again....Easy Garbage Pail
This month's challenge for the Cricut Circle is to make something useful for your car on those Summer road trips. No matter what I always seem to have bunches of trash...add in other people and it gets to be a problem....So I made this little garbage pail. I live in Texas and the year I started driving Texas came out with the Don't Mess with Texas campaign...So of course I had to do that on one side using the 50 states cartridge for the Texas cut, the star and letters from Cake Basics....Used the Cricut Decals cartridge from the E2 Expression and Plaintain Schoolbook for the other side. I used high performance vinyl, so the pail can be used for many other things....like hitting the beach....

The Father's Day Invite
Can you believe I failed to take pictures of the Father's Day cards and the cute boxes before I gave them to them? Oh, well. Here is a pic of the invite I did to invite the dads over for some bbq.
Used the Father's Day card, a Amuse sentiment stamp, DCWV paper and some of my black accents for the handle. |

Summer of Savings Stash/Scrap Challenge
HI, all....I have started a group on Facebook called Summer of Savings Stash Scrap Challenge.
It is for challenges related to reducing the money we spend on craft supplies. There will be one main challenge that you must participate in to be in the group....it is a Summer long challenge, so from June 21st to September 22nd. This challenge will be to not purchase any new or additional supplies during this time frame. Yep, you read that right! Three months of NO crafty purchases.
There will be some small guidelines:
You may purchase adhesive as needed (although it might be painful to go to your craft store of choice to get it)
You may purchase one pack of black and one pack of white card stock during the course of the challenge
If you are someone that makes paper crafting as a source of income...you may purchase for that purpose only (special order for something with zebra print and you don't have it---you would get the zebra print to complete the job). The goal is to still try not to purchase more than you need or to not make a purchase if you can use something else.
Also, I will be posting new challenges (sub-challenges) that are optional - these challenges will be weekly or bi-weekly. Please suggest challenges, too if you like.
This will be a great place to post pics of your projects that you used your stash or scraps to create. It will be perfect chance to break out those tools or supplies you just haven't gotten around to using and share with everyone how it worked and what you made. And an oppurtunity to borrow from each other if you need that perfect thing to complete a project, but it isn't in the rotation. (I have a friend that lives 3 miles from me and I'm sure if I don't have something....she does! )
Look for the group on Facebook and join us if you like!

Welcome to the Scrappin With My Bug Birthday Blog Hop!
Welcome to Styles by Stefani and my post for the Scrappin With My Bug Birthday Blog Hop! I am so excited to have been invited to celebrate with Michelle and friends for her birthday this year. If you have just stumbled across my blog this weekend head on over to Michelle at Scrappin with my Bug to start this hop from the beginning! I have been given a sneak peek of some of the AWESOME blog candy and you really don't want to miss it! If you are hopping along the party you should have come to me from the great and talented Tangee at Kricut Krazy.
I have made two items for this hop. One of them will be heading to Michelle to greet her at her home for her birthday...The other holds a gift that Michelle will receive in person when we meet (June 1st).
The one Michelle will receive for her birthday is a card I made that includes some of her favorite things...Peachy Keen Stamps, twine, animal print paper, bling, Pink by Design Stamps and Cricut E2. The gift bag was made with animal print paper too and I attached a bow from some matching ribbon.

And, in celebration of Michelle's Birthday...I am offering some blog candy in the form of some party appropriate stamps from Pink by Design. It is the Party Time set. All you have to do is be a follower or my blog and leave a comment on what you think is in the gift bag for Michelle. You don't have to be right to win as I will be choosing that by Random.org on Monday, May 23rd. If you already know (yes, I spilled the beans to a couple of people) please just leave a comment that you know, but your not saying!!! :)
Tune in June 2nd to find out what it is!
Now, head on over to the gifted Alma at Alma's Pink Life to keep on hopping.
Happy Birthday, Michelle!!!
