Jaded Blossom Birthday Guest Designer Spot

Hey, Y'all it's Stefani from Styles by Stefani!  Just stopping by at Jaded Blossom today for my turn at their month of Guest Designers!  We are celebrating their 1 year birthday of the launch of their Stamp and Favor business.

Their products are so fun and I really enjoy making sweet treats for everyone with them.  I haven't had much crafting time these last few months, but check out my blog at Styles by Stefani to see what I've created this year using Jaded Blossom's products.

Congrats Candace and Michelle on a fun year!  We are all looking forward to see what is coming in the years to come!

So, on to my project....I made a little Happy Meal treat box complete with fries and some mini burgers!

I used the following Jaded Blossom products in my little Happy Meal...Curly Label Die, Curly Everyday Borders, Birthday Kisses, Pattern Kisses, Food & Drink and Make a Wish.  Yes, I do have almost all of the Jaded Blossom products!

I hope you have enjoyed my project and I thank the Jaded Blossom ladies for including me in their celebration!  Congratulations!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Hey, Y'all....For me the day after Thanksgiving is the start of the Christmas season....So, I gave these Christmas themed gifts for my hostess gifts at the Thanksgiving feasts me and hubby attended yesterday.  I hope they liked them....

I was inspired by a post I saw at Cricut.com.  The designer there, Paula, used some filler in the shadow box. I tried that, but it wasn't as cute for me.  I used the Cricut cartridge Word Collage to create these.

Hope you enjoy 'em.  Check back soon for more Christmas themed projects!

Have a fun day!

Jaded Blossom November Challenge

Hey, Y'all....Tried something a little different (for me) tonight...I rarely attempt to recreate something that I've seen someone else make, but I have wanted to make this little pumpkin since I saw it on Cricut.com made by Rockin Renee.  I attempted it....it didn't turn out as cute as hers, but I like it.  I've filled it with Pumpkin Spice Kisses embellished with the Jaded Blossom Thanksgiving Kisses stamps.

I am entering it in the Jaded Blossom November Challenge. Go enter your design today (the deadline is November 17th).

Here is a link for Renee's project and the instructions at Cricut.com. I did emboss the pumpkin and leaves...that wasn't part of Renee's project.

And, I wanted to show y'all my new "made by" stamp I received today!
So excited and love the detail of it!  I got it on Etsy at Stampoutonline's shop.

Hello Kitty and 5 cool give aways!

Hey, Y'all....It's Stefani and I'm thrilled to be a guest designer today over at Obsessed with Scrapbooking and super excited about the new Hello Kitty crafting line being released at Michaels soon.

I love the colors in this line...they are a mix of retro and festive....very inspiring.

Hello Kitty is traveling around the world....she is sending much mail and keeping up with all her travels with the fun journal and smash items!  Here is a picture of the line.....I had so many fun items to work with....

There are many different paper pads, a three-ring binder scrapbook, a journal
(like a Smash book), journal starters, little stationary items, stickers,
pens, washi tapes, die cuts, keepsake envelopes and much more.

Adorable Washi Tapes
Cute pen and glue wand

adorable little envelopes
The 12 x 12 paper pad came with lots of
punch out projects and stickers.

The first project I wanted to make was a banner....I was obsessed with it, but I made it last because as I was looking through all the products I kept getting ideas of how to use the cute stickers and die cuts.

I used my Pretty Pennants, Hello Kitty Greetings and
Hello Kitty Font Cricut Cartridges on this banner.

Next I made some small projects to use for travel and gifts that can be mailed.

I tricked out a band-aid tin to
carry my Hello Kitty band-aids and
other travel essentials.

I re-purposed a Cricut cartridge box to make a stationary kit with some
of the adorable products in this line.

As another little crafty gift package I put buttons
in a tube and added the Hello Kitty stickers
to dress up the package. (Give away #1)

I made a little gift pack with yards of 6 different
styles of ribbon. This would be adorable to add
a gift card to and give as a crafty gift. (Give away #2)

would be the perfect companion to the cute Air Mail
theme of this Hello Kitty line and I just love how it looks
on the back of the ribbon package.
Thank you Jaded Blossom for giving me the Funny Mail set
as Give Away # 3.  They have an amazing line, but this
has got to be one of my favorite sets!!!
(BTW the boxes came from Jaded Blossom, too).

Give away #3

Cute journal starters (Give away #4)

Kitty shaped paper and stickies (Give away #5)

I really hope you enjoyed my projects and this adorable line!

Besides the great give away at Obsessed with Scrapbooking, I would love to share some crafty goodness with you, too.  Leave me a comment and let me know how to reach you for a chance to win one of the five give aways.  There will be 5 different winners on my blog.  For additional chances to win follow my blog and leave a comment that you are a follower and follow me on facebook (Styles by Stefani on Facebook) and leave a comment that you are a facebook follower.  You can leave up to 3 comments and I will use Random.org on October 29th to select the winners, so please leave your comments by midnight CST on Sunday October 28th.  Thank you for checking me out!

Thank you, Joy, for allowing me to share some of my ideas using this great line!
I really appreciate it and had so much fun making them!!!

Jaded Blossom August Challenge - School Project

Hi, y'all....I haven't posted in over a month as I have been working on organizing and refining every inch of my craftroom (details and pics coming soon), but today I am having one of those incredible days where NOTHING you have planned is going right.....So, I thought I would take a time out and knock out a little project for the Jaded Blossom Challenge.  I have been itching to use the new Kisses sets that were released in June.  On my project I used the Sports Kisses and Pattern Kisses sets and the 3 x 4 clear bags.  What a great and easy way to make some favors.....I cheated a little and used some 3/4 inch circle Avery labels to stamp on.  The school I was making this for is navy, white and silver, so the white labels and silver kisses offered the perfect color combonation.  I used my 3/4 circle punch for the stamp on the football.  The football and eagle are double sided and popped between each side.

There is still time to enter the Jaded Blossom Challenge, so zoom over there now.

The Graduate!

Hey Y'all.....Today I get to celebrate the graduation of my Soul Sister, Becca!  Although, Becca is young enough to be my own daughter she and I connected when she was a youngster and she has always called me her Soul Sister!  Well, she has graduated from High School and is heading to BYU!!!!

Check out these gifts I made for her!

First up, from the $ bin at Michaels a pencil set.....it had two white with a gold "B" monogram and two solid gold ones.  On the gold one I put a BYU sticker making it a custom BYU pencil.  Next, also from the $ bin, I found a little notebook that she can carry in her purse.  It had the perfect BYU colors (Tan and Navy), but it had a sea shell on it, well, I quickly covered that with a BYU sticker and viola....she has a custom notebook!  These were fast and simple, but I think she will enjoy them.

Next, I made Becca a more elaborate gift.....a SMASH book!!!  Here's a bunch of pictures of it!

I covered it with clear acrylic sheets to protect it and included some
Washi tape and the dual tip (glue and ink) pen so she can easily add all her keepsakes.
On the first page I included some special sentiments from me and my
hubby on the library card and showed her an example of how to add
keepsakes by putting a picture of her and her mom at the BYU campus.

I added this little "self portrait" of me in one of the
pockets, so she doesn't forget her soul sister

In the back oversized library pocket I included a bunch of BYU
stickers, some post it type labels and some starter cards for her to journal on.

I hope she enjoys it....I will try to add a pic of her opening it.

Update....well, I didn't get a picture of her with the SMASH book, but she seemed to like it.  I did get a shot of her with my mom opening the quilt my mom made for her!
