Jaded Blossom May Guest Designer...

Hey, Y'all....Stefani here....I have so been enjoying being a guest of Jaded Blossom this month!  They have been such great hostesses!!!  So, with that I decided to make a hostess gift for my Jaded Blossom Blog day.....

I thought this tag would be cute on a hostess gift and make a two fold gift. One for the hostess with the bottle of wine and one for her guests to use to keep their glasses straight with the wine tags. I used the Jaded Blossom Flag die for the wine tags and stamped them with the Jaded Blossom Food & Drink stamp set.

I had so much fun making this, I decided to make a wedding one using the Wedding Wishes stamp set.

I have been having so much fun this month with my Jaded Blossom Guest Spot I have decided to do a little give away.....

This is one of my favorite Echo Park paper pads....love their double sided paper!  Just leave a comment on what your favorite Jaded Blossom product is on this post.  Please comment through Sunday night and I will be doing a random drawing on Monday, May 21st.

Happy Anniversary to US!!! Megan K. Suarez Fine Art Give-A-Way

Hey, Y'all....today is the Eighth Anniversary of my marriage to my sweet hubby, Chris.  He has added so much joy to my life and I'm so thankful to have him.  We are taking a 4 day weekend to the Texas Hill Country to sample the best Wine and BBQ in Texas!!!  Nothing says I love you like hunks of slow smoked red meat!

Each year, almost at the beginning of the year....months before our anniversary, Chris will begin asking me..."what do you want for our anniversary?".  Most years it is a little annoying because I haven't even given it a thought.  But, this year I was fully loaded and ready to go when asked!  I recently saw some art by the amazing artist, Megan Suarez via a friend of mine, Abby.  I immediately began stalking her facebook page....Check it out here and like her page, she posts some amazing work and some amazing deals.  Anyway....I had seen a piece she did that I absolutely loved and when Chris asked me this year what I wanted for our anniversary I pointed him in Megan's direction.  She created this custom piece and I have already installed it in my lime green craft room.

He also got this great piece with 3 stacked Sugar Skulls for me too.....It is so lovely!

Megan has so many creative outlets that she explores....I love her paintings, but she also has a great stamp line that consist of her original art made into digital stamps that you can just print and use.  I must admit, I haven't ever used a digi before, but here is a card I made with one of the digis I bought from Megan.

I also used the awesome stamp set  Mini Set #3 Muy Agradecido
from Dilo En Espanol for the sentiment for this card.

Megan has graciously offered a great give away for my followers....it is for 3 Digis from her shop. To qualify, just leave a comment on this post between now and Sunday, May 20th.  I will draw the winner on May 21st, so please leave a e-mail address for me to contact you for your prize.

Please check out all of Megan's sights.....When you make your first purchase, tell her I sent ya!  Check her out at these websites.....Right now she has a great special....buy 10 digis and get 10 free....

Jaded Blossom - Customer Apprecitation Day!!

Hey, Y'all.....Happy Jaded Blossom Customer Appreciation Day!  I'm a great customer, so I'm loving being Appreciated!!!!  Can't wait to use the FREE digis they are giving all us great customers and to take advantage of their SALE!!!  (one of my favorite words!)

I made a project that I think is SO useful and makes a great gift! I used the Jaded Blossom stamp set Make a Wish for the cover sentiment.  You'll spot other Jaded Blossom stamps on the cards inside the binder.  It is a binder that has 12 pockets for cards, tags, envelopes, recipe cards or whatever....I decided to make mine for Birthday Cards and put a monthly breakdown on the 1/2 pocket on each page to represent all the months.  What a great way to keep track of all your birthdays.  I am going to make one for lose recipe cards next.  Then maybe one for notes from my honey (I know....sappy).  Oh, this would also be a good engagement gift to help the bride to keep up with notes and receipts during wedding planning and then she can take it on her honeymoon to keep up with fun stuff she picks up....Well, the possibilities are endless.  I got this project idea from my good friend, Kim from Bling Dazzler....I got to copy see this last weekend at a retreat we attended...(the directions are below the project if you are interested).

I hope you enjoyed my projects and I appreciate all of the Jaded Blossom customers stopping by to say hi or Hey, Y'all!  Now, head back over to Jaded Blossom to check out the rest of the line up and the great prizes they will be giving away!

Directions:  This is super fast and easy....take 6 sheets of double sided 12 x 12 card stock.  Score at 6 inches vertical and then 4 inches from the bottom horizontally.  Fold the 4 inch section up to make a pocket and then fold the item in to make a page front and back.  I put adhesive between the two pages at the very bottom to make an 8 inch pocket from the top.  You don't have to adhere the open side as it will be bound closed when you bind the book. I cut two pieces of chipboard 8 x 6 to make the covers.  Then after I decorated the covers (and added a postage pocket to the inside front cover) I bound it all together with my Bind it All and 1 inch O wires!

Jaded Blossom May Guest Designer

Hey, Y'all.....I'm so excited to have been asked to be the Guest Designer for May for Jaded Blossom. I love their stamps and treat making goodies!!!  Please go check out their awesome line and make sure to enter their Monthly Challenge while you are there.

Last month they released an adorable stamp set for Teacher Appreciation Week called...you guessed it....Teacher Appreciation.  I knew I had to have it!  I don't have kiddos, but enjoy making things for my niece and nephew to give to their teachers.  I had so much fun with this set.  Check it out!

First up....something inspired by the Jaded Blossom, May Monthly Challenge.....

This little watering can and flowers is from the Cricut cartridge "Kate's ABCs" and I used Echo Park paper from the Springtime pad as my background and then added a splash of twine from The Twinery.

Here are the rest of the cards I made for Teacher Appreciation Day!

I used the Cricut Cartridge "Birthday Bash" and one of the Cuttlebug embossing folders from the Mini Monsters Bundle. And, I love this cute cupcake ribbon!

Here I used my Jaded Blossom Die set and the Cuttlebug Numbers Collage embossing folder and a splash of The Twinery twine.

I am loving this card....I have a thing for measuring tape, so I have this satiny ribbon in many colors.  I couldn't resist pairing it with the You Rule stamp from the Jaded Blossom Teacher Appreciation set.  The Thank You is from their limited release Thank Hoo set.  I used a couple of Stampin Up punches I recently got to mount the sentiment onto some glitter paper.

These last 3 cards were made using the Cricut Cartridge "Create a Critter", the Jaded Blossom Flag Die and a few Stampin Up punches.  Easy Peasy!!!!

Well, I hope you check back here often....I promise a fun month for my Jaded Blossom Guest Designer Month....Thank you for checking me out!!!
